Have you ever thought that Google Glass was hard to manage during a presentation or in another situation? If you’re finding it a bit awkward to speak to Google Glass or use the touchpad during a conference presentation or another situation, then you might want to look into Remotte. The Remotte is the first bluetooth remote for Google Glass.

How Does it Work?

The Remotte connects to Google Glass via Bluetooth. From there, you can use the touch pads on the Remotte to access Google Glass functions. There’s also a center button that you can use to select things, take pictures or record video. Besides that, there’s another button that you can use to add features or you could even develop apps to use the real time data from the sensors built into the Remotte.

Is it Compatible with Anything Besides Google Glass?

While the Remotte was designed specifically for Google Glass, you can use it with your smartphone, tablet and smart TV. It may be necessary for you to map the controls, but if the device has bluetooth, then Remotte will probably work with it.

When Will it Be Available?

Remotte was having a very good Kickstarter going, but the company/creator decided to cancel it due to the fact of how small the Google Glass market currently is. Even though the Kickstarter was cancelled, Remotte is still being developed and the Kickstarter campaign will be restarted once Google Glass is available to everyone. With that said, who knows when the Remotte will be available!

If you’re interested in Remotte, then you can check out the Kickstarter and other information here or on their official website.
