Augmented Reality Game “Global Food Fight” is Available for Free

Global Food Fight Google Glass

Mind Pirate has announced a new augmented reality game for Google Glass™, and other smart devices called Global Food Fight. Global Food Fight is a free, massively multiplayer, 3D action game that involves you slinging food at your friends who are located on some other part of the world.

While using Google Glass and playing the game, you can turn your head and look for possible targets in your display. When you find a target, you tap the touchpad which will launch a food item at them. The food item that you launch will fly all the way across the world to your target’s street, and will collect coins while you are still controlling the item and keeping it aligned with your target.

Your target isn’t completely helpless though. The other person can evade or put obstacles in front of your flying food item. Hitting the target directly provides you with the most points and can knock them out – if your shot gets deflected or blocked, you still get some points, but very few compared to a knockout hit.

You can invite your friends to a food battle via social media and brag about kicking their butts on Facebook, Google+, and Twitter. With that said, if you plan on becoming a food fight champion, then you are going to need to unlock all of the one hundred defense layouts, build an impenetrable defense and hope to survive against the veterans in the game.

Global Food Fight Google GlassOverall, it seems like a pretty fun game and many people seem to be enjoying it. The game is available for free on the iTunes App Store and available for Google Glass at the Mind Pirate website. If you’d like to learn more about the game or possibly meet the developers, Mind Pirate will be holding an event in a couple of weeks that showcases the games that they’ve made for wearable devices. You can find out more about the event at this link.
