Virtual reality is still something new for many users out there. At the same time, there are not many applications that you can find online which work flawlessly with your VR device. However, today we’re going to talk about the Oculus Concepts and how it will help you find applications for your VR device faster and easier.

Last week, the Gear VR mobile-based virtual reality (VR) head mounted display (HMD) has been released in the US. The co-creator Oculus VR has made a few changes to some of the applications for the users.

First of all, one of the major additions is the Oculus Concepts, which is a new channel that’s reserved for pre-release versions of some applications and other experimental experiences. The new section is now up and running and its initial line-up of software has been revealed.

Oculus Concepts offers a wide range of experiences covering many types of genres. For example, The Night Cafe is the Oculus VR’s Mobile VR Jam winner which is already known by many people. However, at the same time, there are many demos and experiences such as: Micigan VR, Cybercook Taster, Caldera Defense, InMind, Playhead, Weather Viewer, Element Engine, CSI Forensics Lab, Cityscape Repairman and more.

It is good to know that the Oculus Concepts will be released for the Oculus Rift HMD on PC, where it will replace the Oculus Share software portal that have offered free content for development kit owners for the past years. VR fans can also expect a pre-release content along with many other experimental projects to show up on the store soon. Keep in mind that this is just one part of the Oculus Platform for both the Oculus Rift and Gear VR, which will allow the users to create their own profiles, earn achievements, meet people online and more.

We will keep you updated with any news that we find about Oculus Concepts.
